High-Speed Go-Kart Rebuild

Took a dead kart to ~80 mph by rebuilding the frame, drivetrain, and controls, focusing on reliability, safety, and handling at speed.

From CAD to Reality

I like working where mechanical design, electronics, and software all overlap.

Hey, I’m Sam. I’m a mechanical engineer who spends a lot of time building, tuning, and breaking things on purpose. With almost a decade of 3D printing experience and several years of professional work, I’m comfortable owning the loop from sketch to parametric model to test print to final assembly.

Additive manufacturing

Designed and tuned high-speed FDM systems, custom toolheads, and print profiles for reliable, repeatable results instead of one-off “hero” prints.

Embedded & IoT

Built connected devices with low-power microcontrollers, sub-GHz radios, and custom PCBs, making sure they survive real job sites, not just dev benches.

Rapid prototyping

Short loops: design, print, test, iterate. I care as much about fixtures, jigs, and stress points as I do about the final part.

Let’s Build Something

Have a printer to tune, a device to prototype, or a weird idea to validate? I’m always open to new projects and collaborations.
